	Newly Refurbished Restaurant We are pleased to announce the completion of our latest project, the Re-furbished Lodge Restaurant. We opened the newly refurbished Restaurant just in time for X-mas parties and functions and we are now in full flow for the beginning of 2010.

	New Disability Toilet September 2009 We are pleased to announce the completion of our latest addition to the hotel of a unisex toilet fully compliant to part M Building Regulations for both Ambient and Disability use.

	Prestigious Award On 5th March 2009 Mansfield Lodge Hotel received their 2-Star Small Hotel Award.

	Meet our Manager and Head Chef Darren Fletcher Darren first started out as a chef aged 16 at Caunton Beck near Newark and went on to work in other local ala-carte restaurants such as Donnington Manor Hotel in Castle Donnington and Lakeside at Arnold gaining experience along the way catering for large wedding functions and busy restaurants which catered for up to 300 people. Darren has now opened his own restaurant the Lodge Restaurant here at Mansfield Lodge Hotel. Darren’s future plans for his restaurant are to gain rosette or even Michelin star recognition. Darren is very passionate about food and uses the freshest and most local produce when designing his menus and hopes you enjoy the flavour of his success to come.

All of our food is locally sourced and freshly prepared on the premises by our very own fully qualified chef.
